Approach

Every mandate follows the same logic: understand before recommending, decide before planning and stay until it works. Depending on scope, a mandate covers the early stages only or the full path.

How a mandate runs

  1. Discovery

Interviews with management, operations, finance, IT and, where useful, your vendors, plus a look at your systems and data. We listen before recommending.

  2. Synthesis

What we heard, what we saw and what it means, in a few pages. Findings are tested with your team before they're final.

  3. Decisions

Working sessions with management to settle the hard calls: what to do, what to drop and in what order. Decisions are written down as they're made.

  4. Roadmap

The decisions become a sequenced plan: quick wins first, then the larger projects, each with an owner and a decision point.

  5. Implementation

Where the mandate covers it, we work alongside your team and vendors to get the first projects live.

  6. Governance

Once projects are running, a steering rhythm, vendor and budget oversight and go/no-go checkpoints keep them on track.

A focused diagnostic usually stops at decisions. An extended program can run through all six stages.

Principles

Structured

Every mandate has a defined scope, duration, deliverables and decision rhythm. You always know what comes next.

Quick wins first

From the first weeks, we look for what can be delivered without waiting for the final report, so value shows up during the mandate, not after it.

Close to the work

We work with your people and your vendors through short, frequent sessions, mostly by video, and stay through implementation, not just until a document is delivered. Site visits are planned where they add value.

Evidence over hype

Recommendations rest on your processes, data and constraints. AI gets used where it earns its place, not because it's fashionable.

What you get and keep

  • Written deliverables in formats your team already uses, yours to keep and reuse.
  • A decision log: what was decided, by whom and why.
  • Reusable tools: the roadmap, the evaluation grids and the prioritization criteria.
  • The reasoning, not just the conclusions. Your team understands why each recommendation was made and can carry on without me.
